Swedish Massage

The Swedish massage technique is designed to increase the amount of oxygen that is delivered to the muscles. This helps to flush out toxins and improve the flexibility and health of your muscles.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep-tissue massage is a vigorous therapy used to loosen areas of hardened or inflexible muscles and tissues. It targets the deep layers of your muscles and tendons. Because deep tissue massage uses slower and deeper strokes than Swedish massage therapy, you may feel a little pain immediately following your treatment. However, this pain should disappear within a day or so.

is repeated until the fascia is completely relaxed.

MEDICAL MASSAGE

It is becoming more common for a physician to write a prescription to treat many types of ailments and disease. Often times a physical therapist will be used in conjunction with a massage therapist to achieve desired results of treatment. This type of massage can vary greatly from area specific to full body massage.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

Pregnancy massage is designed to decrease tension and swelling and increase circulation for both pregnant women and those who have just given birth

ONCOLOGY MASSAGE

is the branch of massage therapy that is specifically dedicated towards cancer patients. It is a way of providing extra care to cancer patients on their journey back to good health. Research has shown that cancer patients do in fact benefit from the therapeutic effects of massage therapy. Oncology massage can also be applied to the patient during any stage of their cancer treatment, including when first diagnosed or when on the road to recovery.
